Glenn and his wife Julia are the owners of Alliance Media Group, an advertising firm that has been named one of the top 100 privately owned firms in the Lehigh Valley for two years in a row. Alliance Media Group opened just as the Great Recession of 2008 was beginning. A difficult economic time for all, the firm succeeded due to the Geissinger’s tireless work ethic, commitment to success, and a common sense approach.

This approach is one that Glenn successfully uses not only in business, but in government positions as well.

Glenn, a civil servant, currently serves on a multitude of boards and committees that better the 17th congressional district. He has held the seat of Vice President of Northampton’s City Council since 2013, where he won an at-large seat. Glenn also serves as Chairman of the County Finance Committee and is a member of the Personnel, Open Space, and Courts & Corrections Committees. Glenn serves as a county liaison to the Lehigh and Northampton Transit Authority, is a member of the Board of Governors for the Lehigh Northampton Airport Authority, and is a liaison to the county-owned nursing home, Gracedale.

Born and raised in the Lehigh Valley, Glenn is a native of the northeastern area of Pennsylvania. Combined with Julia’s long family line in Scranton, the Geissinger’s have an unmatched connection to the district and its people.

Glenn and Julia are both descendants of laborers who understood the value of a hard days work and the two were raised knowing that nothing gets you further in life than a strong work ethic, determination and perseverance. Glenn has demonstrated this knowledge since starting his first job as a busboy at the age of 14.

Glenn graduated high school as a National Honors Society recipient. He then went on to attend Lehigh University where he was a founding member of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity and graduated from Moravian College with a degree in Accounting. After completing his degree at Moravian College, Glenn was commissioned as a distinguished military graduate at the Lehigh University ROTC.

After college, Glenn was commissioned as an infantry officer in the United States Army and began his active duty service with the 82nd Airborne Division. He then served in the XVIIIth Airborne Corps.

Glenn has spent the last twenty years serving others as well as building, running and assisting businesses of all shapes and sizes. It is this experience that has proven to be invaluable to Glenn’s government service performance as he is able to effectively analyze complex issues and determine the best course of action in an efficient manner.

While experience is undoubtedly an important factor for success, it is Glenn and Julia’s deep commitment to their family and the future of our nation that drives them to tirelessly serve others.

The Geissinger family is very active in their church congregation, their community and on local non-profit boards. Glenn and Julia have worked hard to raise their two children, Sarah and Noah, in an environment that leads by example and demonstrates what it means to give countless hours of volunteer and public service.
